This map to Bull Key in Charlotte Harbor is one of many new FishySpot maps that are being put onto the site. This one is called "Charlotte Harbor" for now, but will be reorganized into a collection specifically for Charlotte. There are twenty spots in that bay alone, and plenty more here in Tampa.

Captain David has been putting one a week onto the list, too, and DaveT is keeping the menus updated and functional. Eventually they'll be categorized into the same nine regions we've split the state into for the Reports page.

I know I've asked this before and we have put some of our old maps back up (like Sweetwater), but if there's anyplace you would like to know about that you've heard about, let us know and we will do the maps for you and put your requests on top of our to-do list.

The next one I'm doing is called Urban Fishing. It's going to feature the Platt Street Bridge and the other downtown snook and sheepie holes. I'm sure THAT one will be popular with the locals.

Hello Gary and Capt. David, appreciate the fishing maps, will be most helpfull on our next trip south. Went to your Dockide Restaurant page and couldn't really 0 in on what Restaurants or locations were listed. Is it just a general location marker on your site map? Would really like info and recomendations on Dock and lodging and camping areas that have dockage for a small boat. Will be down the end of this month and would love to find a camping area or enexpensive lodging that offers dock space, Thanks Howard
With the first winter rain let my name be traveler. Basho. I travel to fish. Bonerack

I know this topic came up before on the forum. Somebody found a hotel with a dock or a boat ramp somewhere in Sarasota, I think...but, there's always Ft. Desoto. Ft. Desoto has camping and a really nice boat ramp. I think there's like 10 ramps side by side. It's pretty nice. And it's very close to restaurants.
The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of that which is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. -Anonymous
