Just thought I'd introduce myself here and maybe even find some fishing buddies in the area.

My name's Chris. I used to fish all the time with my dad when I was younger. I remember my most distinctive catch being a 34" cobia at John's pass when I was 7. We upgraded our boat eventually and always fished the skyway for snapper and offshore for grouper. Then things changed, I stopped fishing and we sold the boat.

I recently got back into land based fishing and hated the limits so now I'm fishing from a kayak. Still learning the tricks and getting the spots down. Forum looks pretty great so far with lots of info.

Welcome Chris! There are a ton of kayak anglers on the forum that will help you out. Unfortunately I don't have a yak yet so I won't be much help but post any question and you will get several answers.

Welcome to the forum, and more importantly, back to fishing! The potential of becoming a seasoned vet is possible just from this site alone. Ask away, everyone is always ready to help.
