I have ALWAYS fished shrimp, almost exclusively. I always figured it was common sense that you would do better with live bait that fish actually eat than something that mimicks something they eat. I had a few free hours this morning and everything that I looked at said today wasnt going to be a great day, tides wernt great, moon wasnt great, ect. So only having a few hours I decided to go to double branch and try artificals for the first time.
Turned out to be my best day ever. Not much quantity (only 2) but I was only out for maybe 2.5 hours. Beats catching 50 puffers.

Guess double branch was on fire today. My cousin said he caught a 27" red along with 3 snook today. Great job!

Nice fish!
Those are the best days in fishing, when you don't really put a lot of planning into it and just go for a short period of time and yet you produce some quality fish.
Mirrodine is my go to bait 75% of the time.

Oh yeah, nice fish and super stoked to see that the mirrodine/pro-cure combo is working for others as well.
