Started out with shrimp and caught a few redfish then I kept seeing some very large shadows(snook cruising). I bought some mirrolures in the last few days because of a post on the site. I put it on instead of my regular zaraspook and on my 8-10 cast I had the hardest hit I have ever had a 33in snook crushed the lure and gave me a good 5minute fight between jumps and mangroves. I have caught a 36in on live bait but this is by far my largeste on artificials. Very happy with the lure. Finally tally was quality not quanity 2 snook both over 27in and 3 redfish the largest was 24in. Tight Lines :thumbsup:

That's great! Were you just doing a steady speedy reel or did you try walk the dog with it?

Its a shallow swimmer and was just below the surface. I was doing a jerk and reel and my pole just bent double and a second later he broke the surface. He had one jump when his whole body left the water , gorgeous fish, great fight.
