Gosh, thanks for the great post.
The book "Skinny" was as popular as it was because of Michael's photography, which represented about 85% of every visual. I did 10% as illustrations, so The book was completely his images. I think there might have been ten pictures out of all often that we're not his eye. He is great.
Sam Root shot the cover image. The best tailing image I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot. Michael, in fact, was essentially the photographic lead on the book, and he was part of the group that picked that Root picture for the cover. Mike said he didnt have one as nice, and that Sam's was better.
But mike is the region's best all-around real-life on the water photographers. There are flashier, but there are no images more real-time and that more put me on the boat with Michael and that angler than the images he shoots.
