Coffeepot Bayou, Big Bayou and Little Bayou are good spots. Tierra Verde is good this time of the year, but I don't know if that's too far for you...

Have you ever fished docks before? If not, take a quick read and this should help you catch some fish:
www.theonlinefisherman.com/how-to-all/21...in-the-winter-part-1

There's actually 3 parts and if you have time, read them all, but at least read this first one.

It's called Fishing docks in the winter, but the same tactics will work anytime.

Nice! Fishing from land? There's tons of good spots to fish from land over there...

I fish docks a lot especially at night. Use the fly on the lighted ones, you can't go wrong with a doa shrimp or skip really any soft plastic under there into the darkest shadow.... I use zoom flukes, the riptide 4" mullet can't be beat for docks on 1/8 jighead, doa cal shad on 1/8 jighead, and of that kinda thing.

Get in deep and close to posts and walls.

For the city dwellers out there, a friend has told me that he has good early morning (before sunrise) success with snook hammering mirrolure soft baits along the docks on the Hillsborough River north of Hillsborough Ave and South of Sligh Ave.
