If at first you don't succeed, try, try again- works for me!
Dave, this is for you.
I fished my #2A red marker first thing this am and all I caught wre 3-4 ladys.
So, I wandered out to the end of the jetty and proceeded to land 5 snappers before I knew what happened. Three were 12" plus! I released the others.
The tide was coming in {ugh!}, and the mangos probably went inland with the tide.
For the next hour {until about 7 am}, only silver trout, blue runners ladys and 3- 17" macks pounded my Gotcha.
It was time to go to the spot in front of the hot dog stand. Today, I should'a got a pizza!
Snook and tarpon were swirling all over the place, but no hookups today.
That's the beauty of this jetty, I guess. Fish on almost every cast one day, and not much action the next.
It keeps you coming back.
See ya tomorrow, Dave.
Bill
Oh, I didn't see "the shadow" today. Hope he's OK.
In case y'all didn't know it, Andy is "the shadow".
I'm OK, but I am not the Shadow. I am like his side-kick. I am the only person he talks to on the beach, and lets me take pictures. Then I turn around, and he is gone.
