About 7 months ago we we decided to get a canoe...



And so we did.
As it turned out it was a great canoe for a canoe, but not for fishing a little too tipy and we are rather squirmy when we fish.

So we read a book about Kayak fishing, and low and behold -



We got some Kayaks. They were much better than the canoe but I am a stander so I had to do some modifications to mine



And that was good.

Then I thought I would like something that was stable without having to raise and lower outriggers and NuCanoe answered my thoughts with a new offering - the Frontier.....



This was the answer, stable, good in rough water as well as rivers, maneuverable but able to paddle straight across the bays and very adaptable to small outboards or electric motors.

But then we had many days unable to fish due to wind... What should we do about this?

The answer that came to us was.............

I'm available mostly on the weekdays :)

We are selling the Commanders, but the Frontiers will still be put to very good use. There are a few spots we fish where the CC would be awkward at best, but the Frontiers are perfect.

phatfishkayak - we are still avid yak fishers as well. When my wife works, I will use my Frontier.

One weekend bay boat, one weekend paddle boat fishing, best of both worlds....

You could always build an addition on to your garage! ;)
