On the last 39hr trip that left on October the 12th we came in with a nice catch, a 40lb cuberra snapper (the second big cuberra we brought in this year). We also caught our limit of amberjacks, about 300 mangroves and about 30 groupers.

Catch from the 39hr overnight trip from 10.12

On the next few trips - Capt Mark will be specifically targeting Gag grouper.

Capt Frank and Capt Bryon have been catching up the groupers in shallow water on the day trips. For example, the all day last Sunday October 14th caught 18 keeper grouper and over 200 grey snapper.

Last but not least, as most of you know, our half-days always do pretty well but this time of year you not only could fill a stringer full of grey snappers, but you could also catch one of the many kingfish and mackerel that around close to shore.

Also, as the gulf gets colder the groupers are pushing closer to shore and we are picking up quite a few on even the 5hr half-days!
