Angler Caught with Forty One Bass in Cooler
Some bass anglers are so fanatical about their favorite fish, they'd never even dream of taking one home for supper. According to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, Joseph Molliere of Theriot isn't one of those.
Agents say they stopped the 31-year-old angler in Terrebonne Parish's Falgout Canal to conduct a boating safety and license compliance check, and discovered he was in possession of 42 largemouth bass.
The legal limit in Louisiana is 10 per angler per day. Agents say they cited Molliere for the violation.
