Thirteen Pounds of Historic Texas Largemough Bass
This story from Texas tells the story of a historic largemouth bass.
We found this story from Texas, but considering that 90% of the people that spend time fishing fish for largemouth bass we figured our readers would find this legendary largemouth story as interesting as we did.
A man from San Angelo reeled in a 13.4 pound largemouth bass March 14, the first in more than 28 years at the Twin Buttes Reservoir.
Austin Terry caught the fish, which was labeled ShareLunker 574, as part of the Toyota ShareLunker program which awards anglers for their prized catches. The fish was more than 25 inches long.
