  3. Thanks for the love, guys... Fishfood, phil, both kayaks are very good boats. But like, Ken said, what are you planning to do? where are you going to fish? What features are important to me? These are all questions that you need to ask yourself. As for rigging the Moken, it's as easy as cake. They come with factory rails to mount your accessories where you please without drilling. The other advantage is the patented "wheel in the keel". Makes life easy when transferring your kayak from the shoreline to the truck after a long day of paddling! Is it stable? Very. Can you fish both the flats and off the beaches? yes. As a matter of fact, call or email me if you would like to demo one. I also have a Lure, FF's newest addition to the family. This goes for anyone on the forum. It would be my pleasure.
  4. Yes! Listen to andrew... i am a Brand Ambassador for Yakgear and I back up their products big time! As a matter of fact, I will call Mark tomorrow and get the forum members a discount code for Yakgear products. BTW, if there is ever any questions regarding Yakgear and it's products, feel free to message me.as for the guys using the scuppers to stake out, that's a no no. You can seriously damage your kayak that way and most manufactures and dealers will not cover that. anchor trolley is the way to go.
  5. Check out this trailer for a pilot show I am doing for Telemundo. I have to thank good friends Rob Devore of Yaktastic Adventures for his filming/editing skills and Esteban Gutierez for being my partner in crime. Yes, it is in Spanish but we will be adding subtitles to the final cut. There are 3 more episodes to film so there will be more to come. Hope you enjoy! http://vimeo.com/88716753
  6. Hey guys, this event is just less than one week away. You don't want to miss this one. Brian Stauffer, a kayak fishing guide and myself will be giving you the 411 on kayak fishing in an informative discussion and hands on. There will be several different models of kayaks to demo as well. Please R.S.V.P. at 813-447-4732Hope to see some of you there!
  7. what type of fishing do you do? Salt or fresh? Boat or kayak? I am not sure if TOF will be having any events in your area but I do know of a great Kayak fishing festival in May down in Estero. I am actually speaking at that event. It will be a 2 day tournament along with a kayak fishing festival/trade show followed by the Paddle Film Festival. It will be an awesome event.I am also friends with the local kayak club the South West Florida Kayak Anglers Assoc. or SWFKAA. I am Bob Bramblet, and Esteban Guituirez are really close friends of mine and I'm sure that even if you do not kayak fish, they can lead you the right direction. Also, try contacting Capt. Steve Nagy. He is a member of this forum and one of the best guides in your area. Here is a link to the club sitehttp://swfkaa.com/

  9. It has plenty of room. I will be paddling an 11'6" boat. I am not purchasing one just paddling it. I am on the team and will be doing demos through Sweetwater Kayaks which is their local dealer.
  10. Very stable!! I own the Feelfree Moken line for my fleet and I absolutely love them! The stability on the Moken is unbeatable for it's class. This new Lure is going to be even MORE stable. I will def post pics this week.
