    Diving Lure Or Planer

Bob last time I was out with a friend we were trolling a diving lure and the gags were destroying it. A planner just gives you the option to troll deeper or troll a bigger variety of lures.

Do you tarpon fish from a Carolina skiff?

Spring time when the water first gets the right temp and the thread and greenie baits hit the bridge you can paddle from the south or north parking lots out like a mile and get done awesome fishing, we did it this summer. I wouldn't suggest targeting tarpon from a yak mid to late summer though. Massive sharks follow shorty behind and I've seen first hand more then one time a shark slamming a tarpon into a boat. Not safe in a yak when they are out like that. Better off on the beaches
