  4. Hey guys, Just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. I am loving all the helpful advice and topics that are on this forum. Sounds like a bunch of great guys! I grew up fishing freshwater. My folks have a house right on the Okeechobee, so it was pretty inevitable that I would grow up fishing. However, living in the Tampa Bay Area (South Hillsborough actually), you have to drive pretty much 2 hours to get to any freshwater lakes! So I sold the bass boat and purchased my first salt water boat and changing over the tackle. I have fished saltwater 8-10 times in my life, so not very often. I mainly fish the Apollo Beach flats down to Cockroach Bay. Like I said, not extremely experienced, but always looking to learn. If you have any advice, throw it out! Looking forward to getting involved here! Thanks!
  5. After moving last week to ruskin I was able to get out on the water with a friend from work. We targeted snapper before the winds picked up and got on some fish but not like the ones from last week. But free lining them is always fun in my book. In this video I am going to share a couple of techniques that I have learned over the years. We started off with the snapper and explaining the free lining technique and then headed inshore and let you know what I like to look for when it comes to fishing mangrove islands for reds and snook. I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making the video!
