  2. There is a new sheriff in town! It's a tieless fish hook, called the Valley Hook, that attaches to your line so easy, men, women, children, and people with physical disabilities are loving it! No more needing to tie your hook on the line the traditional way. It works so well, I took my spinners, plastic worms, and crank baits and made them all tieless as well. And to top it off, I believe that Valley Hook has the world's first tieless fly... Ask your favorite retailer if they have the Valley Hook! web: thetielesshook.com
  3. THURSDAY at 6 PM will be this month's advanced Fly Tying class. The flys being tied and materials needed are pictured above. Class is FREE and everything is provided aside from the cost of material. Bring a friend and let Captain Cody Miller help you add to your fly tying arsenal!

Also, there will be a raffle for a FREE guided fly trip on Honeymoon Island. So if you are interested in getting into fly fishing or want to stop by to refresh your skills this is a great opportunity! Seminar starts at 9 AM and casting lessons will take place in the parking lot.
  5. I will be making a trip down to Palm Beach, FL in a few days and plan to bring along my fly rod, I will most likely just give it a shot right from the beach in the mornings. Does anybody have any information/suggestions on which flies are working right now? What I might catch on the beach right now? How to fish this area? I have fished Sanibel island before and I know there the fish were right off the beach in the first trough, will this be the case? Anything will help!
