Fishing Supply Liquidators ?

Recommended Posts

I keep seeing ads in Craigslist for this place, Fishing Supply liquidators at the Oldsmar Flea Market.

the ad shows some really cheap prices and a lot of giveaways,..  just figured that I would see if anyone has firsthand  info before I drive in from Lakeland.

Thank You for the feedback

Patrick

You are thinking of Southeastern on N. Florida Ave Humbler.  That is different than the one at the Oldsmar fleamarket.

Southeastern has a hell of a selection and good pricing on most things.

The Oldsmar place has good prices on a # of things but I have heard some less than desirable things about dealings with them - so have not really gone there more than a couple times. To be fair I have also heard people say good things about the Oldsmar fleamarket place too so I guess its a mixed bag of reviews on that one.

Was there Saturday for first time. Tons of stuff. But, I didn't think there was any special deal on the combos I looked at. Penn Battle II boat rod was $159.995. Bass Pro @ $139.95. Walmart  online $122. Small kids rod was $39.95 same as bait shop price. I took a pass on it all.

Went to Southeastern on Florida on Monday and bought a 20-40# Okuma combo with two spools for $99. SE is my go to.

There are deals at each place.  Just because a combo wasnt the same price as wally world, doesnt mean its a bad place LOL

The Fishing store at Oldsmar can be a great place.  I've been going there a while and the staff is always nice and helpful.  They buy closeouts, last year's models, old stock etc - so don't expect to get the latest and greatest at the best prices.  I'd recommend going. You can get some great deals and find some eclectic gear for sure.
