Tampa Bay Seagrass

Recommended Posts

I was watching the news last night and they had a segment on there pertaining to the seagrass in Tampa Bay. They said that the seagrass is so healthy and growing and is reaching numbers they haven't seen since the 1950s. This is really awesome, as our whole fishery depends on this seagrass.

If you are interested in the whole segment, I saw it on Fox 13's 10 o'clock news - I'm sure it's on their website.

Again, I thought this was really interesting and I wanted to share with y'all. It's nice to hear good news every now and then.

Heck yeah that's good news.

Just started learning the three types of Mangroves we have here. Mainly to see if a fish has a preference to one of them. So like if Snook prefer Red mangroves, and reds like the black more. Something else for me to do while playing in the shallows.
