Easy Smoked Fish Spread Recipe Here

Recommended Posts

Here is my easy to make Smoked Fish Dip/Spread recipe. It can be made with any fish! I've made it with Sea Trout, Flounder, Redfish, Snook...

1. 8-10 ozs of your favorite fish, filleted

2. Old Bay Seasoning

3. Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)

4. 3 Tbsp Chopped Green Onion or Chives

5. 1 Tbsp Liquid Smoke (Condiments aisle in market)

6. 8 ozs softened Neufchatel (Low Fat) Cream Cheese

1. Fillet & skin your fish.

2. Brush a little EVOO on both sides of the fish and sprinkle with Old Bay Seasoning and cook (grill, bake, fry, etc.). (Hint: Sometimes I pan fry it, skin side down, and just pull off the skin off when I turn it over, then brush more oil on that side and sprinkle more Old Bay.)

3. Place all the ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth.

4. Place it in a container and refrigerate for 3-4 hours, minimum, to allow the flavors to meld.

5. Serve  with Chopped Red Onion, Capers, and a mild Soda Cracker (Carr's Original)
