Staying in America - the Madison
Ever think of actually going on a trip to catch fish? Try the Madison river for some of the best flyfishing in the world.
We were thinking about travel the other day - specifically travlling to go fishing. We've personally fished in a lot of places - particularly in Mexico and South America. But other places we would love to fish - Russia for example - are not on our lists of places we wanna go this month. We love Russia - don't get us wrong (we have Russian blood) - but for now we think that travelling in America to fish is a good idea for a lot of reasons.
Hence this story from KULR8.com about the Madison river - and some of the best all-around (freshwater) fly fishing in the world, we thought you would like a link. You can almost smell the water and feel the hair on the flies :)
"It's a really diverse river," said Rosenberg. "There's great dry fly fishing, there's great nymph fishing, the fish counts, hard to beat the scenery, lots of water so there's lots of different water to fish here."
The whole story - and a glimpse at the Madison - is here.
