We found this story originally on the East End Beacon, but it's circulating all around newspapers and web sites on the northeastern coast. It's about efforts to establish offshore wind farms to generate the energy needed to light the darkness in the world's most populated modern urban regions.
Wind farms are a problem, you say? Yup. They're a problem to some people. Others - like the company whose image we used for this story - feel that producing it offers mankind a solid and sustainable (and offshore) way to light our desks and charge our smart phones.
