This is from Trade Only Today, a publication of Currents. We never let a day pass without looking at this publication - they're that good. As curators in our world of fishing they just make a great source of material that you might otherwise fish. We STRONGLY suggest you think about visiting their site and checking them out for yourself. This is the industrial side of our community, but it's populated by people just like you and me.
This is from one of today's articles about an upcoming IGFA (International Game Fishing Association) seminar series. If you are withing driving distance or intend to be in the area when it happens, make sure to attend. The museum alone is well worth the trip. This image came from TripAdvisor.
The International Game Fish Association is hosting 14 of its highly acclaimed School of Sportfishing seminars onsite at the show. Featuring instruction by some of the best captains and anglers in South Florida, the seminars (free with show admission) share the skills, information and techniques necessary to maximize success on the water.
For aspiring anglers ages 4 to 16, Kids’ Fishing Clinics offer instruction in basic fishing techniques. Presented by Hook the Future and the Palm Beach Post, the clinics offer interactive instruction in selecting tackle and lures, casting a rod and reel, reeling in a fish and fishing ethics. The clinics are free with show admission.
