Stocking shad in lakes
Southeastern Pond Management is an amazing group and does some really cool stuff. In this case they're stocking threadfin shad. They make great bait for largemouth bass, are eco-friendly, and are the same fish we use for tarpon. No you cannot move them from the fresh to the salt. But they do make great dead baits and that works just fine. They're as stinky in freshwater as they are in the salt.
